I’m sorry for complaining- you’re right, it’s better than not getting noticed at all.
Here, let me give you a little bit of a better explanation, because I wasn’t intending to whine:
I didn’t join tumblr to post my art. This isn’t a personal art blog. I joined it to look at things. Getting noticed on tumblr seems difficult, and I honestly don’t think I have the patience for it considering I use this site to relax.
The comment about the piece with 8 notes was a response to something I was asked, and I wouldn’t have said it if I hadn’t been asked why I don’t post my art here. I’m sorry that it came across as whiny and ungrateful.
After making massive progress yesterday, I have decided to do a complete 360 and will now be doing relatively no spriting while I play through Wind Waker for the quadrillionth time :3

I know people tend not to notice when I post drawings, but this one’s pretty important to me.
This is Dusk! She is the protagonist of the comic I want to write. It’s a story I’ve had in my mind for several years now, and I’ve been sketching the characters a lot lately. This is the first time I’ve actually finished a work of art of the story’s hero, which makes me really happy!
I’m probably going to actually start drawing the comic within the next few months, because I finally feel like I’m a good enough artist to do so. I’m incredibly nervous, but I’m also very excited.
